Julie’s Brownies

Here is our favorite recipe that Julie gave to us. We have always called it Julie’s Brownies!
(disclaimer: it’s not healthy, but it’s really good!)

2 sticks butter

2/3 cup cocoa

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1 ½ cup all-purpose flour

Melt butter and add cocoa.  Take off heat.  Stir in sugar, then add vanilla.  Stir in eggs one at a time.  Add flour all at once.  Stir until thoroughly combined but no more than necessary.  Bake at 375 degrees for 15-30 minutes in a greased, 9X13 inch pan.  You can use any size pan – the larger the pan, the thinner and fudgier the brownies.
