Smoked Turkey Salad

2 cups smoked turkey, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
2-3 tsp dried dill (or 2-3 Tbsp fresh dill)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
2-3 drops Tabasco red pepper sauce

In a bowl, mix together smoked turkey, celery,
almonds, cranberries, and dill. Combine mayonnaise
with lemon juice, and gently fold into turkey mixture.
Season with salt, pepper, and Tabasco. Serve on
toasted bread slices as a sandwich or on lettuce
leaves as a salad. Yield: 4 servings
Substitution suggestion: Try substituting chopped apples or grapes for cranberries and/or pecans for almonds

    All of your turkey recipes sound delicious.

    I have a chef question for you. A coworker of mine has given me uncooked venison patties and steaks. Do you have any recipes or ideas for this venison?

    Thanks for the question. How about trying this:
    Season your patty or steak with some lemon pepper and seasoning salt (my family’s favorite seasonings) and cook them either in a skillet (use a little oil, but not too much in the skillet) or on the grill. If they are tough, try marinating them before cooking.
