After bringing my plants home from being in Memphis, I placed them in the windowsill of my room in our new house in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi. They are continuing to grow tall. From the left: Basil, Oregano, Parsley, and Dill.

Herb Garden, Week 4

I had a response from Jaime Coon in Port Gibson, Mississippi, about adding coffee granules to your plants: “My sister Krissy did a science project when she was a kid on how coffee helped things grow. Coffee definitely worked better than just plain water, but dont throw leftover coffee from your mug on your plants, especially if you use cream! Her results on that test plant was a moldy mess!!!”

I really need tips on harvesting my herbs and how long I need to wait before beginning to enjoy my plants! Any suggestions?
