Cheese and Sausage Strata
6 slices French bread, buttered and cubed
1 pound sausage, browned and drained
6 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Spread cubed bread in bottom of 9” X 13” casserole dish. Sprinkle browned meat over bread. Mix together eggs, milk, salt, and dry mustard. Pour over bread and sausage. Top with cheese.
Let stand in refrigerator at least 6 hours or overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
