Extra pounds in the middle of your life can decrease your mobility as a senior. This could fact could provide the encouragement each of us needs to get up, out the door, and to our workouts today!
An article recently published in the USA Today states that “in both men and women, being overweight or obese put them at greater risk of developing mobility limitations in old age, and the longer they had been overweight or obese, the greater the risk.”
Working in a nursing home constantly reminds me of how beneficial it is for our physical well-being to eat healthy, exercise, and live healthy right now. The choices we each make today will affect us tomorrow, whether good or bad.
