This past weekend I made a super simple recipe for a faux focaccia bread and it was absolutely delicious. It tasted great freshly out of the oven and again yesterday, 3 days later!
1 making pizza dough (or you can use a can of refrigerated pizza dough)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
Dash crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
Mix together olive oil, rosemary, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt. Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle. Brush with half of olive oil mixture. Allow to rise for about 30 minutes or until slightly puffy.
Sprinkle dough evenly with parmesan cheese and red onion. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining olive oil mixture as soon as you remove from the oven.
Cut into squares using a pizza cutter.
