Summer is here and with it comes hot weather! We all know that exercising is good for us, but here inWater Mississippi the heat gets way up there during the summer, making exercising a challenge. If you’re not prepared, simply going for a walk can lead you into heat illness or even a heat stroke.

I found some good tips for beating the heat this summer on the Runner’s World website. The tips provided give information to help you stay fit this summer without getting overheated.

Remember that summer’s heat doesn’t mean you can’t exercise. You just have to get yourself acclimated to the hot temperatures and keep yourself well hydrated.
