Iced Coffee Becomes Frappuccino

Last week’s recipe for Iced Coffee with Milk offered me a delicious afternoon treat on Tuesday, but Wednesday I decided to do something a little different – and I thought it was even better!

I took the leftover coffee ice cubes from Tuesday’s treat that were in the freezer, put them in blender, and drizzled them with lite chocolate syrup. Then, I added the same amount of chilled coffee/milk mixture that I used in the Iced Coffee recipe and blended it on high speed for a minute or two.
I poured this in a glass, added a straw, and tasted it. I then looked around to make sure I wasn’t in Starbucks itself! It was delicious and tasted just like a frappuccino treat I had bought (for $4) just the other day! As I drank my frappuccino, my mind began to come up with more ideas that I could use with this delicious beverage, including adding chocolate chips before blenderizing to make a “Java Chip” Frappuccino!
Enjoy!
