Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls

Another great gluten free recipe from Mrs. Loretta Baker!


1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar (I only had light and it worked fine)
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp.  nutmeg (optional)


7 tbsp. milk (cow, rice or soy)
1 tbsp.  yeast (not rapid rise)
1/4 cup sweet rice flour, divided
1/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
2 large eggs (room temperature)
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 3/4 cup brown rice flour mix (I used bean flour mix with a little brown rice flour added)
1 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. melted butter
Rice flour to flour board


3/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. milk (cow, rice or soy)
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
(I used a cream cheese frosting instead.)

2 cups brown rice flour, extra finely ground
2/3 cup potato starch
1/3 cup tapioca starch

Whisk together and store in airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
