Healthy Holiday Substitution Tip of the Week

Enjoy holiday treats when you go to parties, but enjoy these treats in moderation. When you get to a party, choose the smaller size plate if you have a choice. Oftentimes, the dessert plate will be just the right size to use for dinner. Then, scoop out 1/2-portions of the foods you love. Enjoy! If you are still hungry, go back for seconds, but likely the fellowship with friends and family will help you be full when you finish this first 1/2-plate of dinner.
