Planning a healthy menu is a challenge for most of us. Finding something that everyone in the family can and should eat is a daunting challenge indeed! This past week I did a presentation on MyPyramid for the Winston County Diabetes Coalition. As I prepared my presentation, I was reminded of the wonderful resources available for healthy meal planning, meal analysis, calorie needs, and nutrition information on the MyPyramid.gov website. You can enter your age, weight, height, and activity level on the website to receive personalized recommendations for you. There are menus, healthy tips, and even games for kids!
