“How do you keep pasta from sticking together when I cook it?”

The best answer I’ve found for keeping your pasta from sticking together is to add a little oil (about 2 tablespoons) into your water before adding pasta. Bring water to a boil and add pasta. Remove slightly before you think it’s ready (because it will keep cooking once you take it off the heat, and the more you cook pasta the stickier it becomes). When I use a little oil to cook the pasta in, I rarely have problems with my pasta sticking together. Thanks for the question – hope this helps!

  1. I used “Review of Dietetics” and “RD in a Flash.” I also got out my “Krause’s Food, Nutrition, and Diet Therapy” book, which helped, too. I passed the first time, so I guess it worked! ๐Ÿ™‚
